How Hidden Dog Fencing Works: The Transmitter plugs into a standard outlet and emits a radio signal that travels along an underground wire. The lightweight receiver worn on your dog's collar picks up the radio signal and alerts him as he nears the underground boundary that you have customized for your yard. If he continues toward the boundary, he will receive a mild correction, similar to a static shock.

We recommend the Premium Deluxe Dog Fence with the Deluxe Ultralight Receiver for virtually every dog or cat that is 5 pounds or over.

With five levels of adjustable correction, this is our most versatile and advanced receiver. You can increase or decrease the correction to meet your dog's training needs. The Deluxe Ultralight Receiver also has a low battery indicator light to let you know when to replace the battery.

Stubborn Dog Fence

We recommend the Stubborn Dog Fence with Stubborn Dog Receiver if your dog is over 30 pounds and is stubborn or hard to train.

The Stubborn Dog Receiver also has five levels of correction plus a vibration feature for added deterrence and a low battery light, however the corrections levels are much stronger than the Deluxe Ultralight Receiver, making this dog fence your best choice for a stubborn dog. A small percentage of dogs require this receiver. We have found that the following breeds may need the Stubborn Dog Receiver more than other breeds: Akitas, Huskies, Chows, and occasionally Labs, and German Shepherd.

Standard Dog Fence

We recommend the Standard Dog Fence with Ultralight Receiver if your dog or cat is 5 pounds or over and trains easily.
