The Stubborn Dog  Fence comes with the Programmable Vibrating Stubborn Dog Receiver.  The Stubborn Dog Receiver has five levels of correction plus vibration in the warning area for an added deterrent and a low battery light to let you know when to replace the battery. Each level on the Stubborn Dog Receiver is approximately 25% stronger than the same level on the Deluxe Ultralight Receiver. This receiver is excellent for that stubborn hard to train dog. So if your dog weighs over 30 pounds, and is very stubborn this is the one for you. This may be needed on stubborn breeds such as, Akitas, Chows, Huskies, and occasionally, Labs and German Shepherds.

With the Stubborn Dog Receiver you can increase or decrease the correction to meet your dog's training needs. With this system you can contain dogs over 30 pounds within the same fence.  If you have smaller pets in addition to a Stubborn Dog, you can use either the Ultralight or Deluxe Ultralight Receivers for them.

The Stubborn Dog Receiver also has Rising Stimulus, which will automatically give a stronger correction if your dog does not retreat, Run-Through Preventer, which will give your dog an immediate correction if he tries to run out of the fence and a Safety Shut Off if he gets confused.

Additional Stubborn Dog  Fence safety features include protection against false signals through our ASICS Chip, which is the only microprocessor built specifically for the dog industry. The ASICS Chip has 3,000 filters to prevent false signals from causing your dog an unnecessary correction.
